Banks Lose Latest Attempts To Ditch Overdraft Fee MDL
JPMorgan Chase Bank NA and a handful of other banks lost their renewed bids Wednesday to duck out of multidistrict litigation in Florida accusing them of breaching contracts by unfairly charging customers exorbitant overdraft fees.

US Bank Loses Arbitration Bid In Overdraft Fraud MDL
U.S. Bank NA has become the latest company to lose its motion for arbitration in a massive multidistrict class action alleging many of the country's top banks bilked customers out of billions of dollars with egregious overdraft fees.

Alters Boldt Tapped As Lead Counsel In Overdraft MDL
A federal judge overseeing multidistrict litigation against Citibank Inc., Wachovia Corp. and Bank of America NA on Wednesday named Alters Boldt Brown Rash & Culmo PA lead counsel in the case accusing the banks of improperly seeking to garner the most overdraft fees possible from their checking customers.
