Cal-Maine To Pay $28M To Settle Egg Price-Fixing Claims
Cal-Maine Foods Inc., the country's largest egg producer, announced Tuesday that it has agreed in principle to pay $28 million to settle with all direct purchasers in multidistrict litigation accusing a host of egg trade groups of a long-running scheme to limit production and drive up prices.
