9/11 Firm Drops Docs Copying Fee Bid After Judge Balks
Worby Groner Edelman & Napoli Bern LLP has withdrawn its request for more than $890,000 in fees for World Trade Center disaster site litigation after a New York federal judge demanded an explanation for what he said were "unreasonable" copying expenses incurred to transfer files to substituted plaintiffs' counsel.

WTC Cleanup Workers' Liaison Loses $1.87M Fees Bid
The former special liaison to a group of cleaning and repair workers injured in the World Trade Center cleanup after the 9/11 attacks lost her bid to recoup $1.87 million for her work in the case after a New York federal judge ruled the request as "grossly excessive" during a hearing Wednesday.

Grubb & Ellis Allows Cleanup Workers' 9/11 Suits To Proceed
Bankrupt commercial real estate advisory firm Grubb & Ellis Co. on Thursday agreed to allow cleaning and repair workers hurt in the World Trade Center cleanup after the 9/11 attacks to proceed with litigation against it to pursue the firm's insurance funds.
