Court Says AmEx Can't Cut Partners From Steering Notice
A New York federal judge warned American Express that it cannot carve out its co-brand partners from a notice that they are no longer prohibited from steering customers away from paying with AmEx products, granting a motion from the Department of Justice on Tuesday to enforce a permanent injunction.
