USDA To Pay $680M To Native American Farmers
The U.S. Department of Agriculture has agreed to pay $680 million in damages to resolve a long-running nationwide class action brought by thousands of Native American farmers and ranchers who claimed the agency’s farm loan program was discriminatory and favored white farmers for nearly two decades.
