Exxon, Shell Beat Fresno's Claims In MTBE Pollution MDL
A New York federal judge on Wednesday put an end to claims by Fresno, Calif., that Exxon Mobil Corp., Shell Oil Co. and other gasoline suppliers endangered its water supply with methyl tertiary-butyl ether contamination, finding no basis for permitting the city to reassert pleadings that were rejected last year.
