A Miami man who puffed a pack of cigarettes a day for 20 years has hit Philip Morris USA Inc. with a putative defective design class action that seeks lung cancer scans for Florida residents over 50 who smoke or have smoked any of 33 kinds of Marlboro cigarettes but who haven’t been diagnosed with the disease.
