Gibson Gets Insurer's Flood Damage Suit Plucked
A New York federal judge on Wednesday tossed a suit brought by Gibson Guitar Corp.'s insurer seeking to dodge responsibility for covering a flood at Gibson's Nashville, Tenn., headquarters that caused millions in damage and destroyed the original guitars of many famous musicians.

Insurer, Gibson Spar Over Venue For $7M Flood Claim
Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance USA Inc. lashed out at Gibson Guitar Corp. on Thursday in an attempt to prevent its policyholder from pursuing a claim for $7 million in flood losses in Tennessee that is identical to an earlier-filed one in New York.
