J&J Unit Seeks To Nix Listerine False Marketing MDL
A Johnson & Johnson unit asked a Florida federal judge on Tuesday to toss multidistrict litigation against it, asserting that its Listerine Total Care mouthwash was not fraudulently marketed because, contrary to the plaintiffs' claims, it does fight plaque above the gum line.

Judge Refuses To Toss Lead Counsel From Listerine MDL
A Florida federal judge on Tuesday overrode McNeil-PPC Inc.'s objections to the appointment of Scott Cole & Associates APC as lead counsel in multidistrict litigation accusing it of misrepresenting the effectiveness of Listerine mouthwash, but he barred one of the firm's attorneys from the MDL.
