Pantech, HP, Palm Settle IP Suit Over Smartphones
Hewlett-Packard Co. and subsidiary Palm Inc. reached a settlement Thursday in a patent infringement suit brought by Texas patent-holding company Ogma LLC over the use of a motion-activated sound device.

Ogma Sues Apple, Dell, Others Over Smartphone Patent
A Texas patent holder filed a suit in federal court on Friday against a host of technology heavyweights, including Apple Inc., HTC America Inc. and Dell Inc., alleging their smartphones infringe a patent for a programmable motion-sensitive device.
