Dell Can't Ax Ex-Weil Attys From Web Security Patent Case
A Texas federal judge on Thursday denied Dell Inc.'s request to disqualify three ex-Weil Gotshal & Manges LLP attorneys in a patent suit over Web security technology, finding Dell hadn't proven the attorneys' work for the company in prior suits would bar them from later representing an opponent.

Patent-holding company Secure Axcess LLC on Monday sued a slew of companies — including Dell Inc. and Citigroup Inc. — in Texas federal court, claiming their websites infringe a patent for creating secure network connections online.
