Sony Knew PlayStation Flouted TVI's Patents, Jury Told
Sony Corp. knew about four TV Interactive Data Corp. video disc patents but infringed them anyway when it developed the PlayStation 3 and current-generation Blu-Ray players, TVI told a jury in California federal court during closing arguments Tuesday in its $84 million suit against Sony.

Sony Corp.'s PlayStation 3 and at least one of its Blu-ray video players use the same DVD-loading technology covered by four TV Interactive Data Corp. patents, an expert testified in TVI's trial against Sony and other electronics companies Wednesday.
