Creditors' Fraud Claims Cut From Tribune Clawback MDL
A New York federal judge on Monday trimmed multidistrict litigation over Tribune Co.'s $8.2 billion leveraged buyout, finding that individual creditors couldn't bring certain fraud claims against shareholders and Tribune buyer Sam Zell since the company's bankruptcy trustee has already lodged similar claims.

Tribune Shareholders Can't Kick Buyout Clawback Suits
A New York federal judge on Wednesday refused to toss clawback suits brought by Deutsche Bank Trust Co. Americas and other note trustees from the sprawling multidistrict litigation surrounding real estate mogul Sam Zell's 2007 buyout of Tribune Co., which emerged from bankruptcy in December.
