MTV Beats 'American Idol' Alumnus' $40M Libel Suit
Former "American Idol" contestant Corey Clark's $42 million libel suit against MTV Networks Enterprises Inc. and parent company Viacom International Inc., which was later joined by another former contest, has been dismissed, with a Tennessee federal judge ruling earlier this month that MTV articles about the contestants' dismissals from the show had clear factual support.
