Prosecutors on Wednesday recommended a two-year prison sentence for a former Chicago White Sox scouting executive for his role in a kickback scheme that brought in more than $400,000 from inflated signing bonuses for Latin American players, saying that the man's invaluable cooperation with investigators warranted a lighter sentence.
