A California federal judge on Monday threw out 11 patent infringement lawsuits against Electronic Arts Inc., Sega of America Inc. and other video game companies, ruling that computer graphics company McRO Inc. failed to give defendants fair notice of which of its animated facial expression patents were allegedly infringed.
