HTC, Sony, Others Beat Wi-LAN's Wireless Patent Claims
A Texas federal jury on Monday found that HTC Corp., Sony Mobile Communications, Ericsson Inc. and Alcatel-Lucent USA Inc. did not infringe upon three wireless technology patents held by technology licensing company Wi-LAN Inc., ruling the patents are invalid as obvious and anticipated.
