Auto Parts Co. Settles Car Buyers' Antitrust Claims For $4M
Automobile parts supplier Continental Automotive Electronics LLC has agreed to pay nearly $4 million to car buyers to settle antitrust claims related to a sprawling multidistrict litigation over an alleged auto parts price-fixing scheme, according to a proposed agreement filed in Michigan federal court on Monday.

Auto-Parts Makers Slam Indirect-Purchaser Antitrust Suits
Seven auto-parts makers accused of bid-rigging and fixing prices in multidistrict litigation asked a Michigan federal court Tuesday to dismiss indirect-purchaser suits from car dealers and consumers, saying they lacked evidence of a conspiracy, and, even if they had shown one existed, they couldn't prove it affected them.
