Promega DNA Products Infringe Caltech Patent, Judge Finds
Circuit Judge Richard A. Posner ruled Thursday that Promega Corp.'s DNA fingerprinting products infringe a California Institute of Technology patent and that Promega flouted a licensing contract with Life Technologies Corp. by failing to pay a 2 percent royalty on product sales.
