Synopsys Tries To DQ Dickstein Shapiro In Patent Fight
Synopsys Inc. has asked a California federal judge to disqualify Dickstein Shapiro LLC from representing ATopTech Inc. four months after a previous firm was barred from the patent infringement case, saying a Dickstein attorney was involved in the prosecution of a patent-in-suit.

O'Melveny DQ'd By Conflict of Interest In Synopsys IP Row
A California federal judge on Friday barred O'Melveny & Myers LLP from defending ATopTech Inc. against Synopsys Inc.'s patent-infringement suit over electronic design automation, saying O'Melveny's discussions about one of the asserted patents with a corporate client that Synopsys later bought created a conflict.

Synopsys Wants O'Melveny Ejected From Patent Fight
Synopsys Inc. asked a California federal judge Monday to disqualify O'Melveny & Myers LLP from representing ATopTech Inc. in a patent infringement suit, arguing the firm previously represented another company in substantially similar disputes before it merged with Synopsys.
