The Republic of Ecuador owes Chevron Corp. and Texaco Petroleum Co. a $106 million arbitration award stemming from a decades-old dispute alleging Ecuador misappropriated Chevron's crude oil, the D.C. Circuit said Tuesday, upholding a lower court's decision and rejecting Ecuador's claim that the U.S. courts lack jurisdiction.
