Hearst, Conde Nast Off The Hook In 'Shine The Light' Suits
The Ninth Circuit issued twin rulings Tuesday tossing class actions against publishing giants Hearst Communications Inc. and Conde Nast Publications, saying the plaintiffs hadn't sufficiently proven injury by the companies' lack of disclosures under California's "shine the light" law.
