FDIC Tells 9th Circ. American Pipe Saves $1B RMBS Suits
The Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. on Tuesday urged the Ninth Circuit to revive allegations that Deutsche Bank and other underwriters misrepresented the quality of more than $1 billion in mortgage-backed securities sold to four defunct banks, arguing the claims are timely under the U.S. Supreme Court's American Pipe standard.
