Tennessee Attorney General Herbert H. Slatery III said Wednesday that the state has reached a $3 million settlement agreement with vacation club and timeshare company Festiva Development Group Inc. over allegations of deceptive marketing practices.

Tennessee has launched a suit in federal court alleging Festiva Hospitality Groups Inc. used deceptive techniques to market their timeshares and membership vacation clubs, the state's attorney general announced Tuesday.
