Amazon Dodges Ky. Workers' State Claims In Wage MDL
A Kentucky federal judge overseeing multidistrict litigation over whether Amazon warehouse employees deserve pay for time spent passing through security checks ruled Thursday that a 2014 U.S. Supreme Court ruling that such screenings are not compensable under the Fair Labor Standards Act also kills Kentucky workers' state claims.
