Vt., Grocery Industry Agree To Drop GMO Labeling Suit
The Grocery Manufacturers Association and the state of Vermont have agreed to end their battle over a controversial state law requiring the labeling of genetically modified food, in light of a similar nationwide law enacted in late July that preempts any state action, according to a federal court filing Wednesday.
