AMC Viewer Not Covered By Video Privacy Law, Judge Rules
A New York federal judge on Tuesday rejected a putative class action alleging AMC Network Entertainment LLC violated the Video Privacy Protection Act by disclosing online visitors' personal information to Facebook Inc., while reluctantly giving the plaintiff a chance to amend her allegations to prove she is a "subscriber" covered by the statute.
