Life Time Fitness Slams Lawyers' $3M Fee Bid In TCPA Suit
Life Time Fitness said Tuesday that class attorneys can't demand $3 million in fees and costs after settling Telephone Consumer Protection Act litigation against the gym company in Minnesota federal court, arguing that the case required little work and settled quickly because of the TCPA's "Draconian" damages provisions.

Life Time Fitness To Pay Up To $15M To End TCPA Suit
Life Time Fitness Inc. has agreed to pay up to $15 million to end consolidated Telephone Consumer Protection Act lawsuits accusing the company of sending unsolicited marketing text messages en masse to its customers, according to an unopposed motion filed in federal court on Wednesday.
