NJ Houlihan's Operator Will Pay $5M To Settle Wage Claims
The operator of 17 Houlihan's restaurants in New Jersey and New York has agreed to pay $5 million to settle the government's claims that it violated minimum wage, overtime and record-keeping requirements of the Fair Labor Standards Act, according to a proposed consent order filed on Monday.

The U.S. Department of Labor has accused the operator of 17 Houlihan's restaurants in New Jersey and New York of "pervasive skimming from employees' tips and wages" and flouting the minimum wage, overtime and record-keeping requirements of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
