The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission on Friday urged the Seventh Circuit to revive its race discrimination suit against AutoZone Inc., saying that a lower court improperly concluded that racial segregation among the company's Chicago stores doesn't violate Title VII of the Civil Rights Act.
