Attorneys for shareholders in a consolidated derivative class action against the directors and executives of airplane broadband internet provider Gogo Inc. will receive $875,000 now that they have settled allegations that the Gogo brass hid issues affecting the reliability of the proprietary antenna system at the heart of its business models.

Gogo Hit With Investor Suit Over Antenna System Issues
A shareholder filed a derivative action in Illinois federal court on Tuesday accusing in-flight broadband internet service provider Gogo Inc. of failing to disclose reliability issues in one of its proprietary antenna systems that, when revealed, led to successive 18 percent and 35 percent stock drops.
