Claim Construction Issue Led To Directed Verdict For Google
U.S. District Judge Alan Albright explained on Wednesday why he issued a directed verdict in favor of Google during a trial over a location-tracking technology patent, saying that while he regretted that the trial came down to a claim construction issue, it was ultimately outside the jury's purview.

Google Defeats Brazos In Patent Trial Via Directed Verdict
A Texas federal judge on Wednesday issued a directed verdict in favor of Google LLC on the third day of a jury trial, finding that Google didn't infringe patents owned by Brazos Licensing & Development that cover location tracking technology, Google confirmed in a statement.
