Granola Co. Can't Nix Suit Over 'Sugar Free' Monk Fruit Label
Saraya USA can't escape a proposed class action alleging it falsely advertises its granola as "sweetened by monk fruit," a California federal judge said Monday, finding it possible for consumers to think monk fruit was its sole or predominant sweetener, since "no other sweetener is mentioned on the front label."
