Korean Antitrust Agency Takes On Patent Abuse

The Korea Fair Trade Commission is one of the antitrust agencies showing interest in enforcing stronger measures against abuse of IP rights, and its movements are of significant interest to global patent holders. On Dec. 17, 2014, the KFTC issued the revised "Guidelines on Intellectual Property Rights" to counter the rising trend of IP rights abuse.
