Despite the efforts of the legal profession to keep up with the rapid technological changes, one almost universal truth states that technology and society will always outpace the law.[1] That truth certainly applies to the present day discussions around artificial intelligence and machine learning ("ML"). As technology barrels ahead with a variety of technologies that its creators tout as artificial intelligence, the law struggles to keep up with the changes that such technologies bring with it.
