Trump Foundation, together with its directors and officers, for violations of New York laws applicable to charities. The laws at issue include provisions of Article 8 of the New York Estates, Powers and Trusts Law, applicable to all New York charities, and the New York Not-for-Profit Corporation Law, primarily applicable to New York not-for-profit corporations. Both the EPTL and the N-PCL contain provisions specifically applicable to organizations classified as "private foundations" under the Internal Revenue Code.
