By Benjamin Horney ( February 12, 2018, 7:23 PM EST) -- Comcast Corp. may make another offer to buy assets from 21st Century Fox Inc. despite the fact that Fox came to terms on a blockbuster deal with The Walt Disney Co. that involved billions of dollars worth of assets in mid-December, according to a Monday report from Reuters. According to the report, Comcast thinks it could still ink an agreement with Fox, even though a bid it made last year, which was worth upwards of $60 billion, was rejected due to concerns related to how regulatory authorities would view such a transaction. Comcast may choose not to make a new offer, the report noted, noting the decision will be based on how Fox "justifies the deal with Disney in a regulatory filing to its shareholders sometime before they are asked to vote on the deal this summer."
