By Linda Chiem ( June 22, 2015, 6:29 PM EDT) -- Vantage Energy Inc. is considering a possible company sale, nine months after it put off plans for an initial public offering, Bloomberg reported Monday. The Colorado-based oil and gas exploration company, whose backers include Texas-based Quantum Energy Partners and Lime Rock Partners and New York-based Riverstone Holdings LLC, is reportedly working with Barclays PLC to find a buyer for the business. Vantage Energy has already been in touch with potential suitors such as EQT Corp. and Antero Resources Corp., both of which have operations in the southwestern Pennsylvania portion of the Marcellus Shale basin where Vantage Energy primarily drills for gas, according to the Bloomberg report. Vantage Energy postponed a $565 million IPO last September, citing poor equity market conditions at the time....
