Crypto Developments Are Noteworthy, But Not Alarming

Stark and Fontaine astutely highlight recent developments involving the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network, the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission, and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. They predict the "perfect storm" of "regulatory headwinds" on the horizon for cryptocurrency. We proffer, instead, that U.S.-based cryptocurrency offerors and exchanges are at no greater risk today than they have been in the last few years.
