As chief litigation counsel, he is responsible for overseeing civil and intellectual property litigation across the globe. Prior to this role, he served as chief counsel for Pfizer's then largest business unit, the Primary Care Business Unit, for over three years. A 10-year Pfizer veteran, Parini has served four different general counsels in various senior positions, including leading the legal teams responsible for supporting some of the company's largest products in the oncology, pain, inflammation and neuroscience therapeutic areas. He also was responsible for overseeing the legal division's U.S. policy and global privacy efforts. He started his career at Pfizer in 2004 as counsel to Pfizer's Cox-2 medicine Celebrex, just shortly before Vioxx was withdrawn from the market....
