Notably, the commission has announced over 20 enforcement actions, proposed four rules and launched two new initiatives. This article describes enforcement activity by the Division of Enforcement ("CFTC Enforcement") and the recent final rule concentrating surveillance and other investigative authority in CFTC Enforcement, provides an update on commissioner nominations, and discusses the commission's regulatory agenda going forward, recent CFTC initiatives, and pending proposed rules....
