By Benjamin Horney ( March 25, 2019, 6:45 PM EDT) -- Big3 Basketball LLC, the three-on-three basketball league founded by rapper and actor Ice Cube, is competing to buy 21 regional sports networks from Walt Disney Co. , and the company's offer could be as high as $10 billion, according to a Sunday evening report from Bloomberg. According to the report, Big3 made its proposal "in recent days," and the offer is backed by private equity firm Centerbridge Partners LP, among others. Competing bidders include Liberty Media Corp. , Major League Baseball and Sinclair Broadcast Group, the report said. The next set of offers are expected by the middle of next month, and Disney could choose a victor soon thereafter, the report said. . . .
