By Andrew McIntyre ( April 19, 2019, 5:32 PM EDT) -- Florida charter school operator Academica has purchased a shuttered charter school in Wellington, Florida, for $14 million, the South Florida Business Journal reported on Friday. The deal is for a 93,922-square-foot property at 1000 Wellington Trace, and the seller is a venture of ESJ Capital Partners and MG3 Developer Group, the journal said. Regions Bank loaned $9.5 million to Academica for that and a second South Florida property, according to the report....
