Law360, New York ( January 20, 2015, 11:11 AM EST) -- In February 2013, a guest who stayed at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel and Convention Center in Nashville filed a complaint with the Federal Communications Commission, alleging the hotel, operated by Marriott International, was jamming mobile hotspots, thus preventing guests from connecting to the Internet using their own personal Wi-Fi networks. Following an investigation, in October 2014 the FCC ordered Marriott to pay a $600,000 penalty for conducting Wi-Fi interference at its facilities. . . .
