Inc., with Dow Jones reporting on Tuesday that the company has pledged $300 million to the company, which provides co-working or shared office space. Reports late last month said that SoftBank was planning to ultimately provide WeWork with $3 billion or more through multiple investments. This first investment came from SoftBank itself, and the rest of the money is expected to come from a $100 billion tech-focused investment vehicle that SoftBank is currently raising, the report said. WeWork, which was founded about seven years ago and leases shared office space to members in the technology, art and design, e-commerce, fashion and nonprofit sectors, had a market value of almost $17 billion as of last year....
