The company, owned by Apax Partners since 2007, recruited Jefferies to help it navigate a potential sale. ALM churns out roughly $55 million in yearly earnings before taxes, interest, depreciation and amortization, and its anticipated price tag suggests it believes it could rake in a substantial premium.
