A federal judge on Tuesday quashed Transocean Ltd.'s subpoena for a key BP PLC witness in the upcoming trial for the Deepwater Horizon oil spill multidistrict litigation, but ordered the former well site director, who claims to be too sick to testify, to submit to a court-appointed physician's examination.
