A coffee shop that made "Grumppuccinos" and other Grumpy Cat-related coffee products is liable for copyright and trademark infringement because a stipulation of its licensing agreement with the owners of the "Grumpy Cat" image — which allowed only the sale of Grumpy Cat iced coffee – was a condition rather than a covenant, a California federal judge found Thursday.
