Best Buy Tells Jury It's Owed $770M For LCD Price-Fixing
Best Buy Co. told a California federal jury Thursday that Toshiba Corp. and HannStar Display Corp. owe it up to $770 million for fixing prices of liquid crystal displays it purchased and resold, at the close of a six-week trial that is part of a sweeping multidistrict litigation.

Toshiba Says Best Buy Can't Prove Price-Fixing Conspiracy
Toshiba Corp. on Tuesday roundly rejected efforts by Best Buy Co. Inc. to prove that the Japanese tech giant took part in a massive conspiracy to fix prices on liquid crystal display panels beginning in 1998, telling the California federal judge overseeing multidistrict litigation that testimony from Best Buy's own witnesses does not support the claim.
